Ring*Con is an annual german fantasy convention about The Lord of the Rings. Since the first taking place in 2002, it grew bigger than any other fantasy convention in Europe and opened up for other topics like Harry Potter and Twilight.

Many fans come for the visiting actors of said films, lectures and discussions, like on the languages of Middle-Earth or the realisation of the movies,workshops on potion-brewing, sword combat and much more, but also fan-actions and meeting friends they made on former Ring*Cons.
